Geocache 101 with the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation
Saturday, July 25
2:00pm - 3:30pm
Step into the world of modern-day treasure hunting with the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation's introduction to Geocaching!
This real-world, outdoor exploration game uses digital clues to lead you toward physical "caches" hidden all over the globe, turning any nature walk into an exciting adventure. During this program, you’ll master the Geocaching app, discover the best spots to find hidden caches along the Virginia Capital Trail, and put your new skills to the test with a guided group hunt right outside the library. It’s the ultimate way to sharpen your scouting skills before the big International Geocaching Day celebration on the Trail on August 15th. This program will be held at Meadowdale Library Business Suite.

Meadowdale Library
Meadowdale Library’s prairie style architecture inspires admiring comments for the warm and welcoming feeling created by the building - and the staff. Meadowdale is closely connected to its diverse community. A large part of our bilingual and Spanish-language books are at the Meadowdale library, which also hosts a Spanish study hour every week. The Chesterfield Business Suite and small business workshops help local entrepreneurs become successful, while job seekers get help with applications and learning interview and work skills. The beautiful large meeting room with its own kitchen is perfect for workshops and events.
