Just because you aren’t a teen anymore doesn’t mean you can’t still read like one. This group will delve into a range of young adult materials covering various genres. Join us in discussing “I Must Betray You” by Ruta Sepetys, a powerful story set in 1989 Romania, where seventeen-year-old Cristian Florescu is coerced by the secret police to become an informer under dictator Nicolae Ceau?escu. With a revolution right around the corner, he must choose between betraying what he believes in or expose the truth and fight for freedom.
